SCHOLARS
I started working at a very young age—when I was only 10 years old—to help my parents pay our household bills. Although my parents did their best to support our family, their wages were not sufficient to cover all our expenses. Because of this, I made the decision to contribute in any way I could.Pursuing this degree is not only my path toward obtaining a college education, but also a way of fulfilling a deeper purpose. I aspire to serve the community of Catubig, especially those who are often left behind and overlooked—children with special needs—by providing them with understanding, support, and inclusive education. I hope to apply the knowledge and training I have gained from the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, in service to my community.

I am passionate about music—I sing and play the guitar. I enjoy cooking and am also a member of the college swimming team at St. Scholastica’s College Manila. I love reading the news and books as a way to expand my language abilities and broaden my knowledge. I also value spending time with my friends, as it helps me maintain balance and motivation.
Academically, I have consistently been an honor student from elementary school through senior high school in Catubig. I am committed to continuing my education under the guidance and guardianship of the Benedictine Sisters at St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, by giving my very best and studying diligently. After graduation, I hope to dedicate my life to social service and give back to the community of Catubig—especially to children with special needs, who need our compassion, love, and guidance the most.
